Mailbird 2 Launch Date Announced

mailbird logoRegular readers will know how I have been praising the email client Mailbird, well there’s some great news. Mailbird 2 is being released on Thursday, March 12 with a raft of great improvements.  With this latest version it goes beyond being an email client but has evolved into a fully fledged communications hub, integrating with a broad spectrum of third party services.

Announcing the new version, the company states: “Mailbird 2.0 is adapted to how online users manage communication and business development today, and will always be ready to innovate with work habit changes and new technologies. Mailbird 2.0 is made for the ever-changing and evolving modern work flow. The team behind Mailbird and the software both focus on educating better means of managing productivity through online communication.

Mailbird Apps Integration

One of the key improvements is that through Mailbird you can now have direct access to w broad spectrum of task managers, note services, online storage packages, etc. These include:

Other new features include Touchscreen swipe, a snooze function that allows you to hibernate your emails and set a time to return to it, smart notification and drag n drop.

The  team isn’t resting on its laurels and is working on its Wingman module, unified inbox and folders, advanced search, extra security measures, migration from other older email clients and the addition of more apps and services.
